Our Mission

H.O.P.E. = Hope and Opportunities for People with Exceptional abilities

H.O.P.E. exists for teens and young adults with autism and developmental disabilities — especially those who've aged out of early intervention services and hit a wall of limited support. Built from both lived experience and professional insight, our programming centers on evidence-based practices, person-centered care, communication development, and life-skills training, so participants can grow toward greater independence.

After-School Program

Structured support after school with social skills, recreation, homework support, behavior support, and life-skills practice.

Weekend Respite

Drop-off weekend care designed to give families relief while students enjoy safe routines, recreation, meals, and supervised activities.

School Breaks & Summer

Full-day programming during holidays, school breaks, and summer months with enrichment, recreation, and community-based learning.

Life-Skills Lab

Hands-on instruction in cooking, laundry, bedroom routines, hygiene routines, communication, safety, and independent-living skills.

Therapy-Aligned Services

Dedicated therapy rooms and collaborative spaces for speech, ABA-aligned supports, social communication, and family-coaching partnerships.

Behavior Support

Structured plans that reinforce IEP goals, positive behavior supports, emotional regulation, and transition readiness.

A Place for Hope

We are fundraising now for a 6,300 square-foot space designed for hosting our key programs.

The H.O.P.E. facility concept includes middle school and high school classrooms, therapy rooms, a model kitchen, life-skills bedroom and laundry room, and a large multipurpose space that can double as a recreational, gym, or community event space.

H.O.P.E. can partner with districts as an IEP-aligned supplemental support program, an extended school day resource, a transition-readiness partner, or an after-school and school-break placement for students who need more structure than traditional programs provide.
